11am Spanish Bilingual Service
We need volunteers who are fluent or semi-fluent in Spanish to serve as greeters, helpers at Children check-in, tech support for worship, etc. in our 11am Bilingual service.
Join our neighborhood outreach team on the 4th Saturday of each month as they go out into the community to show the love of Jesus in practical ways. Teams fill bags of food and then visit homes in the targeted neighborhood to pray and meet family’s needs. This is a great opportunity for you to engage your faith and make and impact right here in our community. Time: 4th Saturday of each month, 9am- 11am in Modular 1.
Community Students (7th-12th Grade)
Volunteers in our Community Students ministry get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They check in students, greet students, set up events, lead small groups and sing or play on the worship team.
Elementary Coaches & Kidstuf
Volunteers in our Children's Center minister to our 1st - 4th graders during weekend worship services. Volunteers may lead worship, do dance motions, run tech, tell Bible lessons, act in drama, help on hospitality teams or lead & assist during small groups.
Family Service Opportunities
Brookdale retirement Center on Skeet Club Road has opened their doors to us on the 2nd Sunday night of each month to hold a service from 6pm - 7:30pm. The focus of this outreach will be young families who would like to serve together to be a blessing to these precious people. First Impressions Team
Volunteers on our First Impressions team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. This team is composed of Greeters, Ushers, and our Parking lot team. If you enjoy connecting with people and would like to be a part of this team, please volunteer below.
Do you enjoy working in the kitchen? Do you enjoy serving? This team prepares and/or serves various meals for different groups as requested and for special events at CBC. Days and times vary for these activities and a list is kept of volunteer availability. You can also help by just donating a food item.
New Life Family Outreach
At New Life Family Outreach, they are providing compassionate care and support to teens, women, couples and families in our community facing unplanned pregnancies. There are a number of ways to get involved including peer counseling and mentorship, Spanish interpreter, handy-man work, donate diapers and wipes, and pray. Time: As needed. Training is provided.
Volunteers in our Preschool ministry (birth – 1 yr) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones during weekend worship services through singing, dancing and teaching the truth of God’s Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and care for babies and toddlers.
Open Door Shelter Meal
CBC is responsible for providing, preparing, and serving dinner at Open Door Ministries on the third Friday of each month. Your group is able to use the CBC Kitchen to prepare your meal. Your group needs to be at Open Door Ministries and ready to serve the meal at 6pm. Approximately 6 -8 adults fit comfortably in the kitchen. This opportunity is not recommended for young children. The Open Door Kitchen staff takes care of clean-up and your group is typically done around 7pm.
The purpose of Community Bible Church’s partnership with Parkview Elementary School is to surround at-risk students with a community of support and encouragement while at the same time planting seeds with the hope of Christ. You can serve as a tutor, reading buddy, or be a breakfast or lunch buddy. Training is provided by Communities in Schools.Time: Once a week / September - May Give every child a chance by contacting Kim Lehmann with "Parkview Volunteer" in the subject line.

Route 56 (5th - 6th Grade)
This ministry is designed uniquely for 5th and 6th graders. We understand that they are maturing and ready to own their faith, but still want to have fun while doing it. We want to empower preteens to grow and develop, to learn and to question, and to discover who God has made them to be. Volunteers in this ministry would include teachers, small group discussion leaders, activity host, tech and worship band.
Second Saturday is a team based ministry that engages the local church in the practical demonstration of God’s love to the community by providing services such as minor household repairs, yard work, painting, clean-up, and simple construction projects.Time: 2nd Saturday of each month / 8:30am in Modular 1. Skilled and Unskilled workers are needed.
The shadow ministry provides a loving adult to shadow a child with special needs. Our goal is to ensure that that child is getting the most out of the activity that they are involved in. The shadow, is not a teacher’s aid, He or she is committed to being a genuine friend to the child they are matched with. Shadows can serve on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Volunteers on the Tech team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and run the camera.
CBC is looking for volunteer drivers for our transportation ministry. This is a vital ministry in transporting those who cannot drive to church and other activities each week. We need drivers and navigators.
This team is made up of instrumentalists and vocalists who use their gifts for the Lord. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. If you play drums, keyboards/piano, acoustic guitar or lead electric guitar there are opportunities to serve in that capacity also.
