As part of our vision to help broken people become whole through Jesus Christ, we are working toward several goals during the next three years. As our church continues to grow we recognize the need for more space and the opportunity we have to reach more people for Christ.
Our Vision 2015 goals include:
- Expanding our ministries across the street from our present campus. We had the opportunity to purchase the property owned by our neighbors, Harvest Point Church. Due to generous donations and contributions, we were able to purchase this property. We now have a second campus at our CBC Life Center. - Starting our first satellite campus in Oak Ridge. We have the opportunity to reach people in the Oak Ridge community by bringing CBC to them. We made plans to lease space from the Oak Ridge Military Academy to host a weekly worship service starting in January, 2013 with live worship, children's ministries, and the same teaching as our current campus by DVD. Due to generous donations and contributions, CBC Oak Ridge held its first service on Sunday January 6, 2013 on the campus of Oak Ridge Military Academy. CBC is excited to be collaborating with the Academy, its cadets and administration in order to serve and minister to the Northwest Guilford area for Christ's Glory. - Partnering with local ministries to help meet spiritual and practical needs in High Point. In order to impact our city, we seek to invest more of our time and resources into local agencies such as Open Door Ministries, Home to Home Ministries, and World Relief.
- Empowering national churches in Jamaica and Ghana. In addition to our current global outreach commitments, we seek to focus further efforts on the countries of Jamaica and Ghana where we have strategic partnerships.
