Next Generation Pastor for Families
Todd Van Dyke was blessed to grow up in a loving, Christian home. He has been apart of a local church since he was a young child. He came to trust in Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior at the age of 12. Todd’s faith in Jesus Christ grew as he went through his teenage years, but it wasn’t until he was in college that he truly learned what it was like to “put off the old self” and “to put on the new self, created in the likeness of Christ”. It was in these years that he really learned what it was like to follow Jesus Christ down the road of sanctification.
Todd studied at the University of Tennessee and finished his degree in Ministry and Leadership at Johnson Universtiy. He has enjoyed the opportunities that the Lord has given him to lead and minister to children, students, young men and women, and children and families from hard places. He has spent years of ministry at Christian recreational camps, pregnancy resource centers, and most recently with WinShape Homes, providing leadership, care, and oversight to foster kids and their extended families as a part of the WinShape Foundation.
Todd is excited about joining Community Bible Church in their ministry to the Next Generation kids and students, as well as providing pastoral care to families in the church. Todd is blessed to be married to Sarah and they have four wonderful children: Gideon, originally adopted from Liberia, Western Africa, Ellis, Esther and Grant.
