A disciple ministry of the church
The nursery at CBC is divided into three areas; an area for the newborn babies, an area for creepers, those that are just starting to move about and a toddler area, for those on the go! We also have a complete dedicated area for nursing mothers to privately nurse their baby
We know that leaving your new baby for the first time in the nursery can be overwhelming. The volunteers in our infant classrooms have signed up and been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies. Rest assured, they are in great and loving hands!
Please be sure to bring bottles, diapers and any special items your child may be attached to. Don’t forget to label any items you leave with us. Labels are provided if needed, but if you could label with a Sharpie marker, that would be great.
Your child will be promoted based on development, when they start crawling, they will be moved to the creepers room and once they are walking, they will go to the toddler room.
Preschool – Kindergarten
Children aged 2 through kindergarten attend a preschool classroom. This is a fun and active stage in the life of a child where they are ready and willing to learn about God. We are excited to have them at CBC and look forward to teaching them that “God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever!”
Our biblical lessons begin in the preschool classrooms. All activities are age-appropriate with plenty of flexibility for the normal needs of preschoolers. Children ages 4-5 go to Wee Worship during each hour of Sunday school. They sing and have a short Bible lesson.
Safety & Security
The safety and security of your child is of utmost importance to us. We use a computerized check-in system for all children in the nursery through fourth grade. Your check-in information is in a secure system where information is kept confidential. We have a dedicated check-in room located in the children’s wing. At least one parent or guardian will need to accompany each child to our newly updated check in station. We also have another one in the nursery for nursery aged children.
