Make a Difference in the Lives of Children
There are many ways to get involved in the Children's ministry at CBC both for children and adults.
Local Outreach programs
CBC is host to both Cub Scouts and American Heritage girls. These are Christ centered programs that provide fellowship and growth for the children of CBC and our community.
Volunteer
It takes a number of volunteers to insure the Children's programs run smoothly each week. Our volunteer opportunities range from working in the nursery to serving on our Kidstuf team. If you love children and are interested in volunteering we will find an opportunity that best fits your desires and schedule!
Contact if you are interested in volunteering in the nursery.
If you are interested in coaching or working with the elementary aged children, please contact
Note: Our volunteers must fill out a volunteer application, and we do background checks on them. They will also receive a volunteer training handbook with all of our proceedures and policies. We have items in there such as emergency lock down plans for all of our children's rooms. We hold security of our children as one of our top objectives.
Opportunities to Serve
We are currently have the following needs. Please contact for more details.
- an adult tech to run our sound and light boards during first hour
- men who would like to "shadow" special needs boys during either hour
Shadow Ministry
The shadow ministry at CBC provides a loving adult to shadow a child with special needs. Our goal is to ensure that that child is getting the most out of the activity that they are involved in. The shadow, is not a teacher’s aid, He or she is commited to being a genuine friend to the child they are matched with. Shadows can serve on a weekly or biweekly basis. If you are interested in helping in the shadow ministry, please contact
