Next Step Kickoff - May 20
Starting this Sunday May 20th and for the next four weeks the leadership of CBC is respectfully inviting you to make your first donations to the capital campaign and to turn in your pledge card for the next two years. We will collect those donations and pledges at the end of our service as a special offering to the Lord. If you need more time to pray and decide what your part in the Next Step campaign should be, you can make a donation or turn in your pledge card anytime after May 20th. Help us kickoff this campaign on Sunday with your continued support for what God is doing through CBC.
Graduate Sunday
We will be honoring our high school and college graduates during the worship services this Sunday! The congregation is invited to a graduate reception following each service. Please visit the Information Hallway to meet our graduates, find out their future plans, offer them words of encouragement and wisdom! We will have displays set up for our graduates and some light refreshments. Congratulations to all of our graduates and their families on their accomplishments!
His Kids Spring Musical - Sunday night!
Sunday, May 20, 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. Join us for our His Kids Spring Musical, Down By The Creek Bank. The kids have worked hard and would love to perform for you. Come out and encourage them!
Benefit Concert featuring Matt Maher
Friday, June 1, 7 pm in the CBC Worship Center. CBC will be hosting a Benefit Concert for Energize Ministries. Christian Artis Matt Maher will be performing and a love offering will be taken for Energize Ministries. To get your free tickets, click here.
Starting Point Lunch - June 3
Sunday, June 3, 12:15 pm in the Middle School Room. If you are new to CBC and would like to hear more about life and involvement here, join us on for lunch immediately after the 11:00 AM service to hear from our staff about CBC. Please click and indicate the number attending. Child care for infants - 5 yrs. old will be provided by request. Please click and provide us with your children's names and ages.
Baptism - June 17
Sunday, June 17 (Father's Day) will be our next baptism day. If you as an adult are interested in taking the step of baptism, please click and Pastor Rob will meet with those interested adults. If your child is interested in baptism, they must attend two classes; please click and Pastor Dave will meet with them.

Starting Tuesday, May 22 we will meet at Panera Bread on Eastchester for the summer. Please join us for fellowship and study at 6:25 to 7:25 am as we begin a study based on the book, The Transforming Power of the Gospel by Jerry Bridges.
Children's Ministries
Opportunites to Serve this summer
With the summer season on the horizon, there are many opportunities that you can help us with in the children’s center as our regular teachers (who serve from September through May) need a refreshing break from the action. Currently we are in need of 4 year old class teachers every other week during both hours. There are several other opportunities in the preschool and in elementary that will be open. Please help us out this summer by clicking and Pastor Dave will give you a call. Thanks for your consideration!
Summer Schedule
As we approach the summer there will be a few changes in our Sunday Morning programming for kids beginning June 3rd. Please note the following:
- · Nursery and preschool- The children will have the same locations and procedures.
- · Grades 1-4 – The children will meet in the children’s wing and enjoy a craft time, activity time, and Bible lesson time. We will promote children to the next grade on August 26th.
- · Grade 5- On June 3rd they will promote up to the Middle School with Pastor

Student Ministries
Middle School Worship Resumes
Back to normal schedule! Doors open at 4:45p.m. Program begins at 5 p.m. We will be taking a break from the meals for the summer, so please have your student eat something beforehand. Student pick up at 6:30p.m.
High School Worship at Dixon Home
Sunday, May 20, 6 pm - 10 pm, Dixon Home (305 Cedarwood Trail, High Point, 27265). The high school students will be having a cook out and bonfire at the Dixon Home!
