We want your kids to love Jesus.
Community Bible Church’s Next Generation Ministry exists to equip and support families to love Jesus Christ and His good news. One of the driving questions that we have as a ministry and as a church is “What or who will our children love the most when they are 30 years old?” The goal of our children’s ministry, what we call Community: Kids, is to help families lay the foundation for building the rhythms and rituals, the knowledge and understanding that provoke love and a lasting relationship with Jesus
We want God to raise up God-centered, Jesus-magnifying, Bible-saturated, culturally-winsome disciples of Jesus Christ in the next generation. Ministry to the next generation will never be pushed to the margins at Community Bible Church. We are not content just to offer “something” to keep our children occupied. We want God to give them hearts full of wonder, awe, and fascination with the bigness and power and beauty of God, with affections that will not be overwhelmed by the pleasures and promises of the world. That is why we are committed to developing an intentional, gospel-infused strategy aimed at winning the heart, mind, and will. Our aim is to partner with parents, the primary disciplers of their children, to help them lead their children to know, love, and serve God by faith in Jesus Christ.
We would love to see you and your family visit us this Sunday. Join the safe, fun environments where your kids learn to love Jesus!
Helping families lay the foundations for a lasting relationship with and love for Jesus Christ.
Your First Visit
The safety and security of your children is of the utmost importance to us. Each of our Gospel Partners (that’s what we call our Community: Kids volunteers) must go through an extensive process before serving in our ministry. This includes a background check, abuse awareness training, reference checks, and an interview by one of our staff. We also meet monthly to train and equip our Gospel Partners in various areas of children’s ministry.
We use a computerized check in system located in our Community: Kids wing. On your visit, we will have you fill out some contact information and information about your child/ren. We will issue each one of your children a nametag with an ID number specific to your family and give you a copy of this id tag. One of our Gospel Partners will help you get to the right class. At the end of the service, one parent or guardian must present the matching ID tag to their child’s classroom teacher.
For your added safety and security our Community: Kids wing is equipped with security cameras and we have a police presence on campus during both of our services. You can fill out your family information form below and be ready to go Sunday morning for a smooth check in process.
We have a Shadow ministry for our families with special needs children. We have several Gospel Partners with backgrounds working with Special Needs Children that can’t wait to minister to your family. “Please fill out the form below so that we can get to know your child better. We will make sure to have someone waiting for them on Sunday morning.
